Temporal Whispers: The Beginning of a Journey

Every artist has that one piece—the one that marks the true beginning. For me, that piece is Temporal Whispers. It’s not just the first artwork in my Veils of the Void collection; it’s the very first artwork I created as an artist, the one that set everything into motion.

At its core, Temporal Whispers was born out of a simple yet powerful desire—to create. I wanted to break free from the constraints of screens, deadlines, and the rigid structures of everyday life. I longed for a space where my hands could shape, my mind could wander, and my heart could speak in textures and colors.

Measuring 80x40 cm, this piece carries layers upon layers of plaster, joint compound, acrylic, spray paint, and bronze leaf, all brought together with a satin varnish finish. Every layer represents a moment of experimentation, of discovery, of finding my own rhythm as an artist. The wavy textures reflect a sense of movement, a whisper through time, while the deep matte black provides contrast and depth, allowing the bronze highlights to shimmer with meaning.

The process of creating Temporal Whispers was deeply personal. It was my way of reconnecting with something that had always been within me but had been buried under years of structured, corporate life. I had spent so long planning, organizing, and ensuring everything fit into neat little boxes—this piece was the complete opposite of that. It was spontaneous, emotional, and free.

More than just a work of art, Temporal Whispers symbolizes the beginning of something greater. It’s a reminder that every artist starts somewhere, that every creation holds a story, and that sometimes, the act of starting is the most powerful thing we can do.

As the first piece in the Veils of the Void collection, it sets the foundation for the exploration of the unknown—the hidden, the unseen, and the whispers of the cosmos. It represents a journey that has only just begun, one that I am eager to continue.
